NOTHING is funding events via new initiative, Club Nothing (R)
Applications are open to promoters, collectives & individuals anywhere in the world, where four winners will receive US$10,000 each
NOTHING is putting money behind the party with a new grant.
The company has launched Club Nothing (R), a global events series backed by a US$40,000 fund for organisers, individuals and collectives building new music experiences on the ground.
Four winners will each walk away with US$10,000 to throw a club night, series or festival later this year.
As mentioned on their site, NOTHING wants to "invest in your most outrageous ways of experiencing music". As examples, they write: "An acid rave in a forest on the outskirts of Tokyo, a hyperpop takeover of an abandoned subway where everyone’s dressed like Hello Kitty, a post-industrial techno set in a Parisian toilet."
Applications are open now through August 9, with winners to be announced in late August.

The fund is open to a global audience; promoters and collectives across Asia stand just as good a chance as those in the United States or United Kingdom.
The judging panel spans DJ and producer Manuka Honey, NOTHING's Erica Travis and Shavone Charles, Dazed music editor Solomon Pace-McCarrick, A&R executive James Supreme, and music industry professional Layla Mustafa Rock.
It's a mix that leans as much on scene credibility as industry reach. Between them, they've built festivals, run labels, and shaped underground scenes from multiple angles.

The fund extends ties NOTHING already has to music; Swedish House Mafia, The Weeknd and Charli xcx count among its investors and brand ambassadors.
Club Nothing (R) kicks off with a debut event in New York on July 9, with more cities to follow.
