Carl Cox’s collab with Zenith will set you back US$34,000+

Zenith and Carl Cox has come together again for the second time to release a new limited edition watch called the ‘DEFY Extreme Carl Cox’.

Ambassador and friend to the Zenith brand, Cox was inspired by his longstanding music career and forever embedded three of his favourite turntables with golden tonearms to its microblasted steel and yellow gold face.

In its surroundings, you can expect to find a 12-sided carbon bezel in yellow gold, an open dial, a Carl Cox logo and it is also water resistant. The strap includes a steel matte finish bracelet, but It also comes with a rubber and Velcro strap which can be switched out depending on your activity of the day.

Since this is a limited edition piece, there are only 100 pieces available for this very in-demand timepiece for collectors.

Fans are able to own their very own DEFY Extreme Carl Cox’ for a price tag of about US$34,000+ — a tad bit higher than Zenith’s other Defy Extreme watches but probably worth it for enthusiastic collectors.

Carl’s first collaboration with Zenith came in 2020, where they also used the Defy model, designed to include a small vinyl as one of its dials and emulated the nightclub vibe as it glows in the dark. This piece cost a little less when it was launched, just about US$20,000.

Additionally, those who managed to get their arms on these, have an opportunity to meet Carl Cox at certain events.
