Bønehead releases ambitiously hypnotic ‘Technicolør’ EP
The Bøne.FM head honcho's project touches on old-school disco, nostalgic synths & booming basslines
New Delhi-based label, radio, and magazine Bøne.FM has released Bønehead’s latest EP, ‘Technicolør’.
Bøne.FM’s founder Bønehead, known for his experimental approach to music, continues to push boundaries by blending live elements, immersive soundscapes, and more into his work, and this EP is no different.
The EP dives into different styles and sounds, in a rich palette of sounds combining old-school and modern ideas into a four-track masterpiece.

‘In the Høuse’ explosively blends old-school disco and tech house elements, full of hypnotic vocal samples, nostalgic synths and booming basslines. ‘Riddim Tønight’ is in the same vein, with acid lines and in-your-face synths that pack a punch.
The latter half of the EP takes a more introspective turn, delving into melancholic and atmospheric territory, while still being incredibly uplifting.

A standout track is "I Don’t Want Yøu," which masterfully transitions between breaks and four-on-the-floor beats, keeping listeners on their toes. The synth takes center stage in the back end of the track which floods the mix with vintage rave emotions.
This EP is far from a laid-back listen; it’s packed with fresh ideas and unexpected twists, showcasing Bønehead’s versatility and artistry.
