Universal Music Group’s electronic-focused arm Astralwerks have teamed up with Domino Recording Co. to secure a global partnership with American duo Bob Moses for their latest single ‘Time and Time Again’.
“It’s a big week for us: a new tour for 2022 and now our first new music in a while,” says the duo about their recent career turn. “We spent most of the last year in the studio, and this track feels like the perfect first taste of what we’ve been working on. It’s a celebration of the return of dancing with friends after almost two years spent inside.”
“It’s also a special song for us personally because it was inspired by a close friend who we lost too soon. Writing the song was cathartic, and it helped us realize that all of those shared adventures of dancing until the sunrise are memories we’re lucky to hold.”
Bob Moses was previously managed by current Astralwerks President Toby Andrews, who said, “Having worked with Jimmy and Tom during the early years, it’s an absolute pleasure to bring things full circle and have the Astralwerks global team behind the upcoming project and rejoin what is arguably one of the most exciting projects in electronic music today.”
Vancouver-bred musicians Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance have coined a sound under their Bob Moses outfit, fusing moody dance floor ambience with classic guitar and rock sensibilities, garnering them a global following of quasi-dance music enthusiasts. The pair are booked for a full-throttle US tour starting in March 2022, and in time for the drop of their third studio album.
