Streetwear brand BlackEyePatch reveals dragon Lunar New Year capsule
The Tokyo-based label carries forward its "取扱注意" (handle with care) message in the new collection
As the lunar new year creeps in with the mighty dragon, brands are slowly pushing out their capsules and Tokyo-based streetwear label BlackEyePatch has caught our eyes with their dragon-inspired threads.
The brand releases various products such as sweatshirts, t-shirts, gold chains, earrings, jackets, hoodies and a car freshener. As for the designs, BlackEyePatch made sure it was adorned with the dragon in most of these pieces.
Earlier this year (last week, to be precise) the brand had collaborated with a Seoul-based fashion brand, thisisneverthat and produced a hoodie that saw a fusion between the two logos in an embroidered and stamped print. This co-branded collab was a huge success as the hoodies are all sold out.
For this capsule, BlackEyePatch carried over the "取扱注意" aka “handle with care” message onto this capsule, which was used in their previous collab with thisisneverthat.
You’ll be able to see this messaging on most of the collection including their accessories such as the gold plated pendant (silver 925), earrings and air freshener — unfortunately, both items are currently all sold out.

Other pieces that are available now include a black Kanji ‘BEP’ varsity jacket in PU leather material, a sweatshirt in black and grey that reads ‘This property is sold’ across the chest, plus a t-shirt with a claw digging its way through the ‘BEP’ logo.

As for the price range of these items, they cost about an average of US$100 - US$200. Most of the pieces are already sold out, so if you’re looking to secure yourself some BlackEyePatch lunar new year threads, you might want to get yours soon.
