Beijing label Out Of Fashion Boys announces their first compilation featuring Airmax’97, Lao & more

Inspired by the picturesque and culturally charming city of Beijing, local label Out of Fashion Boys just announced the release of their VOL. 1 compilation for December 19.

The 12-track compilation features artists like Zefgirlclub, ZEAN, False Witness, Air Max’97, Merca Bae, GORO, LAO and many more. With their inspiration for art and lifestyle stemming from the Chinese capital and across the whole country, each artist on the compilation exudes with their emotional expression about their personal outlook or attachment. For example, Goro's "Air China" samples airline safety announcements, obviously in Chinese. Berlin artist Heimer was commissioned to create the cover art.

"Oppressed, submerged, but packed with tremendous energy" is the feeling that Out of Fashion Boys want to describe their first multi-artist release, as it also well defines their label. Beijing is full irreplicable and unique charm, and the cultural fascination the label was absorbed into this release is exactly to their desired output, resulting in their first compilation.
