B E N N drops new project ‘Hypocrite’ via Chile’s Infinito Audio Network

B E N N, the Taipei-based producer and visionary behind Taiwan’s experimental stronghold, ‘Over My Body’, just dropped his latest sonic offering, ‘Hypocrite’.

The project pushes his sound further into the abyss and is out now via the Chilean label Infinito Audio Network.

It delves deep into the human condition, channelling the chaos of modern life and contorting it into a labyrinth of heavy-hitting, genre-bending tracks that don’t just reflect his evolution—they scream it.

True to form, B E N N blends frenetic rhythms and broken beats with distinctly Asian influences, layering his in-your-face sound with complex, off-kilter samples that refuse to be boxed in.

If you thought his past releases were intense, ‘Hypocrite’ takes it up another notch.

It’s abrasive, brazen, and brilliantly composed—a full-blown contender for album of the year. Every track plays its role in an interconnected vocal-less narrative, creating a project where no single cut steals the show.

If one had to stand out, ‘Karma’ packs a punch that’s impossible to overlook. Its percussion slams you right in the chest, conjuring an eerie, horror movie-esque atmosphere that lingers long after the track ends. But that could also be said for each one of the tracks on display here.
