Fans pay tribute to Avicii by launching monthly podcast

Fans of the late Avicii aka Tim Bergling have announced they will be launching a podcast on the artist’s official subreddit.

With a focus on the life and legacy of the late artist, the podcast will also include DJ mixes, interviews, questions from the community, fan remixes and personal stories, while also touching on mental health.

A post was made on the subreddit, which has over 25,000 subscribers, announcing the project. The post read:

"As some of you may remember, there was an attempt some time ago to launch an r/avicii Podcast for this community. Due to scheduling commitments and implementation difficulties, it didn't work out back then, but the desire for a podcast remained..."

"After many months of planning and developing a concept, we are more than pleased to announce that the first episode of our monthly podcast will be released soon."

"And we want you to be a part of it. Are you a producer and would like to showcase your songs or mashups in our podcast? Is there a story from your life where Tim's music helped you that you'd like to share with us? Whatever it is, everything is allowed!"

As of writing, there is no release date for the podcast, but it will be free and available to listen to on Mixcloud.

Avicii embarked on his final Asia tour in 2016, two years prior to his tragic passing.

His legacy still lives on through the dedicated fanbase's podcast, which promises to dive into Avicii's music, history and influence, as well as celebrate the ongoing Avicii community.
