At long last, Spotify is officially launching in Thailand
FINALLY
In May, it was widely speculated that the Swedish streaming platform would soon be launching in Thailand after a job posting was spotted online looking for a Thai editor.
Yesterday Spotify confirmed the news when it announced that the platform was ready to open in Thailand with an event to be held August 22nd.
While there was no further news given for now, according to Khao Sod English more information is soon to follow.
"Be patient. We’ll reveal more details soon,” it said.
Until now, the only streaming services available in Thailand have been Deezer, Joox, KKBox, Line Music and Apple Music.
Brace yourselves for heaps of Mixmag curated playlists coming at you when Spotify launches.
