The AM Clean Sound x Keith Haring collection signal’s the artist’s club-loving spirit

Danish music label accessories brand AM Clean Sound has launched a capsule collection featuring the iconic pop art motifs of Keith Haring. Collectors will be able to get their hands on a vinyl brush, cleaning kit, record tote bag, record weight and anti-static record mat.

The collaboration is a nod to both parties’ deep love of music and club culture. Haring, whose creations are heavily inspired by New York City graffiti subculture of the 1980s, is also known to be an avid club goer.

Famous for being a stalwart of the Paradise Garage nightclub, the artist always made time amidst his Saturday night schedule to grace the hotspot and enjoy the sounds of its beatmakers, which include Larry Levan.

Founded in 1971, AM Clean Sound has self-proclaimed to have released the first anti-static vinyl brush that neutralises the record’s static charge when the brush’s carbon fibre is swept over.

The stereotypical clean, minimalistic Danish style of design marries well with Haring’s distinctively familiar images, bringing together fashion and function for lovers of black gold.

With more and more enthusiasts continuing discover the analogue sounds of vinyl, this collection is sure to sell out fast — since its release, several items have already been totally cleaned out. Fingers crossed for a restock.
