AFTER 2049, the official closing event of global Web3 event series TOKEN2049, is set to take place on September 20, 2024, taking over Marina Bay Sands’ SkyPark Observation Deck and CÉ LA VI.
Set against the backdrop of the Formula 1 Singapore GP’s Friday night session, the event offers stunning views from the 57th floor.
AFTER 2049 will be the Singaporean debut of Danish electronic trio WhoMadeWho. Known for fusing electro-pop, disco, and rock with hypnotic grooves and emotional depth, they’ve earned a global reputation for their innovative, high-energy performances at festivals like Sonar and Burning Man, plus remixes for big names such as Daft Punk and Hot Chip.
Accompanying WhoMadeWho on the line-up are South African DJ and producer Da Capo, plus returning acts ANONM, Leon, Milam and Mo-Shi.
What sets AFTER 2049 apart is the groundbreaking spatial audio technology brought by Polygon Productions, debuting in Asia for the first time outside of Wonderfruit.
Their cutting-edge 360° sound system, combined with synchronised lighting, creates an immersive multi-sensory experience designed to enhance the live music atmosphere. The audio uses L-Acoustics L-ISA technology with circular speaker stacks to deliver music that moves around and through the audience, providing a one-of-a-kind listening sensation.
“Polygon Productions and TOKEN2049 share a passion for tech, innovation, and pushing the boundaries beyond what was ever thought possible. We just do it with sound. Together with WhoMadeWho and Da Capo, this will be an evening for the books,” mentions Nico Elliott, CEO of Polygon Productions.
