Ableton launches Rent to Own as new way to obtain Live 12 Suite
A 24-month payment plan that gives producers a permanent license once completed
Ableton has rolled out its Rent to Own option that lets you get Live 12 Suite without paying the full price upfront.
The plan runs for 24 months, and you get full access to Live 12 Suite as soon as you start, including all instruments, effects, content, and Max for Live.
Unlike a subscription, the payments lead to a perpetual license you keep once the final instalment is completed.
The payment structure is quite straightforward; each monthly payment goes toward the standard cost of Live 12 Suite; no interest, no extra fee, and no penalty for stopping.

You can pause the plan whenever you need and continue later without losing your progress. If you want to finish early, you can pay off the remaining balance at any time.
For producers who want Live Suite but prefer predictable monthly payments, Rent to Own offers a practical route.
