A new mix by Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter has aired on NTS Radio
The French producer went on air for an hour showcasing "orchestral sounds, piano pieces and more"
A radio show by one of half of the iconic Daft Punk, Thomas Bangalter, was broadcasted on NTS Radio on April 12.
The French producer went on air for an hour from 6:PM (BTS) on NTS 2, showcasing a mix of “orchestral sounds, piano pieces and more” the website explains.
Bangalter released his first solo project in two decades last week titled, ‘Mythologies’, his appearance on the independent broadcaster will mark the release of the album.

NTS announced Bangalter’s upcoming show in a tweet with an archival image of the elusive artist and the caption: “Big one tomorrow…”
‘Mythologies’ was originally made for the ballet of the same name choreographed by Angelin Preljocaj and premiered at the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine.
Bangalter began working on ‘Mythologies’ in autumn of 2019 after being invited by Preljocaj to create a score for the house’s resident orchestra.
He was said to have “reinvented” the ballet’s composition, creating a collection of music that he was reportedly “itching” to write.

The album includes 23 tracks which “embrace the history of orchestral ballet music” and was originally performed alongside ten dancers.
