88rising’s Joji puts out a euphoric soft banger ‘Gimme Love’ from his upcoming album
His sophomore album ‘Nectar’ drops on July 10
An infectious single that gives us a strong hint to the rest of his sophomore album, Joji’s recent single ‘Gimme Love’ is an impressive follow up to his Billboard’s Hot 100 debut with ‘Run’. Riding off his internet fame from urban collective 88rising, the Australian-Japanese producer, singer, songwriter and famed YouTube personality has put all his eggs into one basket for his upcoming sophomore album titled ‘Nectar’ which will hit shelves on July 10.
Although he side-steps from his usual jaunts into trip hop and R&B and a little closer to pop with ‘Give Me Love’, what we love most is the music video. The video sees Joji in multiple characters, from a young student working on assignments to a stressed out employee in an office, to then being in a hospital followed by a space station.
