Mixmag and image enhancement app Wink team up on #WinkTheNightBack campaign

There are fewer, more solemn moments than checking your photo library, ready to relive some memories from a big night out, only to find that the images you snapped are complete duds. Blurry, hazy, low-lit duds, with no real chance of recovery.

While it’s nice to get lost in the frenzy of the dancefloor, spontaneous snaps always make a night out more memorable. Mixmag has teamed up with image and video enhancement app Wink on a brand new campaign titled #WinkTheNightBack, aiming to rescue and restore blurry, low-quality photos and videos from clubbers, DJs and promoters.

Focused around Wink’s brand new feature Smart Enhance, which promises to handle "anything you'd normally give up on" by bringing photos and videos back up to scratch, the #WinkTheNightBack campaign strives to save your snaps from the delete folder. Those shaky videos can now be fixed, with colour-correcting, sharpening and detail recovery also available to bring your photos back to 4K.

Mixmag is teaming up with a slew of specially selected DJs, artists and producers from the UK, US, Brazil and Mexico to join the campaign, who will put real shots to the test. They'll put their own spur-of-the-moment photos and videos from a recent night out through the Wink app, to see just how much the Smart Enhance tool can do.

There are rewards up for grabs, too. By helping decide where Wink goes next, you can bag a pair of Sennheiser headphones or be in with a chance to win a complimentary one-month Wink VIP membership packed with all the premium features. Just download the app, and be one of the first 100 to complete a survey about how you shoot, edit and share your photos and videos to win a VIP membership, while the two most thoughtful responses will snag some quality headphones.
