A series of events at Dots Bay House you must not miss
Mixmag Asia teams up with the Sri Lanka venue yet again for monthly parties with leading artists starting this NYE
Sri Lanka is quietly becoming a sought-out destination in Asia for tourism, food and music. Long a favourite for those in the know, the rest of the world is finally catching on to the island’s undeniable pull.
That’s exactly why last year Mixmag Asia partnered with Dots Bay House, a definitive place to unwind, reset, and, when the sun goes down, lose yourself on the dancefloor, where we invited over artists such as Elliot Schooling and Liam Palmer, Un*Deux, Manara, plus exclusive showcases from Dynamite Disco Club and Jambutek.
Now, the series of collab events back for another chapter, returning to the Hiriketiya venue to kick off the renewed partnership in style.
Before we get into the music, a word on the newly improved venue.
Perched right on the waters of Hiriketiya, Dots Bay House has become a cultural hub and a must-visit destination in Sri Lanka. Tucked away yet expansive, the space offers some of the best food we’ve had on the island, cocktails to match, a swimming pool, yoga studio, co-working areas, dorm accommodation, and an atmosphere rooted in calm and serenity.
That is, until night hits. Then, Dots transforms into one of Sri Lanka’s most impressive dancefloors.
Recent upgrades have taken the venue to a new level, with a thoughtfully redesigned layout that allows the indoor-outdoor dance area to breathe even at full capacity. Improved circulation, enhanced airflow, clear sightlines to the DJ booth from every angle, and a design that builds pressure without overcrowding were all carefully considered.
Add to that a state-of-the-art Void Acoustics soundsystem spanning the entire space, delivering a cleaner, fuller and more immersive listening experience, alongside a newly designed lighting rig to complete the atmosphere. No gimmicks, just crisp sound, sharp visuals and pure dancefloor energy.
The events will be listed below in chronological order as they are announced.

Kicking off this renewed partnership is a New Year’s Eve celebration that needs little introduction.
Prepare for stacked line-up that will descend on Dots’ newly renovated space for what promises to be one of the island’s standout nights of the year.
The formidable mix of international talent and regional favourites include Lawrence Guy, Lindsey Matthews, Bastian Bux, D Stone and Kairavi, who are all set to soundtrack the first moments of 2025.
Sadly, tickets are now sold out—a sign to keep a lookout for our next collab coming in January.
This is just the beginning. We’ll be expanding this feature throughout the year, spotlighting future Mixmag Asia x Dots events as they unfold. Trust us, there’s plenty to be excited about.
