Budakid to drop ‘Infinity’ EP after making rounds in India

Budakid aka Kevin Huizing has announced the release of his eagerly awaited 'Infinity' EP, which set to drop on May 3 via Berlin’s Exploited Records.

Currently in the middle of his Spring 2024 India Tour, the Indonesian-Dutch producer’s new EP has already had its tracks featured on Permanent Vacation and Watergate Records and road-tested at Ibiza's Cova Santa, ADE and Miami's Do Not Sit, garnering incredible crowd reactions.

Title track 'Infinity' takes listeners on a dynamic ride with its effervescent bass, kinetic drum work, and euphoric melodies. Meanwhile, 'The Curse' channels '90s nostalgia with buoyant chords, snappy breaks reminiscent of Bicep, and intertwining synth lines. The rest are just as perfected and primed to all kinds of listeners; from the newcomers to the discerning.

Born into a musical household with Indonesian roots, Budakid’s trajectory into music was as natural as they come. Transitioning from drumming to digital composition in his formative years, he swiftly established himself in the dynamic electronic scene around his hometown, which is somewhere close to Nijmegen.
