Sunny Side Up Tropical Festival welcomes Phoenix, TOKiMONSTA, Snakehips & more for 2017

Since checking out Sunny Side Up Festival for the first time last year, we've been impatiently awaiting news of this year's line-up for the boutique Balinese event. Last week the festival slowly started trickling teasers online and we've rounded them up for you.

Disco rock group Phoenix are top billed and their new album 'Ti Amo' arrives just in time for the festival so you can expect a lot of new tunes as well as the classics to be played beachside. To complement this, English indie electronica band Hot Chip will deliver a DJ set and British electronic duo Snakehips, who have been making headlines for their future-facing hip-hop and R&B influenced sounds will also add to the atmosphere of the festival. Coming from LA and festivals like Coachella, SXSW, Burning Man and more, TOKiMONSTA will be debuting her unique take on indie electronic/R&B/dance music at the festival this year. See the full line-up below.

The festival will return to its postcard-perfect home at Potato Head Beach Club on the 11th and 12th of August for two days of music, mixology, food and culture. Since its off season almost everywhere else in Asia except Bali, we strongly recommend grabbing tickets and building a Balinese holiday around the festival. Think affordable, beautiful, delicious and heaps of sunshine. If you need any more reasons to go then head here but if you're ready to purchase your tickets, go here.
