ZHU brings his hypnotic vibes to Hong Kong for one night only

Prepare to get lost in the moody, mesmerising world of ZHU as he hits Hong Kong on August 23 to perform at Popinjays, organised by party purveyors Collective Minds Asia.

Known for his sleek synth melodies, billowing basslines, and irresistible hooks, ZHU crafts tracks that blend sensuality with a touch of the sinister. But there’s more to ZHU than just his prowess as a producer and DJ—he’s also a talented singer, performer, instrumentalist, songwriter, and filmmaker.

He initially gained recognition through his anonymity, letting his music speak for itself without the influence of his image or identity.

That was until 2014 when his breakout track ‘Faded’ quickly became a hit. Its sultry vocals, deep basslines, and haunting synths caught the attention of both fans and critics, leading to a 2015 Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording.

He solidified his place in the industry with his genre-blurring 2016 debut, ‘Generationwhy’. Subsequent projects like ‘Ringos Desert’ (2018), ‘Dreamland 2021’ (2021), ‘Musical Chairs Mixtape (Vol. 1)’ (2022), and ‘Days Before Grace’ EP (2023), showcase his continual evolution as an artist.

Earlier this year, he dropped his latest release ‘GRACE’—both an album and a film; a stunning audiovisual experience. This ambitious project takes listeners on a journey from darkness to light, tension to release, and uncertainty to peace.

The upcoming film, releasing this fall, will capture the full scope of his artistic vision, blending his music with cinematic flair.

Don't miss this opportunity to experience the full spectrum of ZHU's sounds behind the decks during his one night in Hong Kong on August 23.

With Early Bird tickets sold out within the hour, it's advised that you purchase your tickets soon while they're still available.
