Wonderfruit unveils line-up with Rudimental, Wolf+Lamb, Jonny Greenwood's new project & more
Young Fathers and Matador are also billed on the first phase
Taking place on December 15th to the 18th at The Fields at Siam Country Club, just outside of Pattaya, Thailand’s boutique music, arts and lifestyle festival returns for its much-anticipated third edition and has just unveiled the first wave of artists for 2016. As expected, there are some names to get feverish about.
Live DnB group Rudimental is top billed on the first wave of artists, along with Radiohead guitarist Johnny Greenwood's JUNUN project featuring Shye Ben Tzur & The Rajasthan Express.
Mercury Prize winning hip-hop group Young Fathers, Wolf+Lamb, Kate Simko & The London Electronic Orchestra, Mad Professor, Matador and Nastia were also announced today. Locals plus more waves of international acts are also expected to be dropped in the coming weeks and months.
The family friendly event also curates line-ups that indulge in the arts, hosts on-site talks and workshops, explores wellness and other outdoor adventures, and our favorite, their farm to feast series, which provides festivalgoers with some of the best festival food we’ve ever been treated too.
Wonderfruit, now in its third year, is Thailand’s only artistically curated boutique event and it remains one of the most anticipated weekenders in the region. An experience unlike any other in an idyllic setting, Wonderfruit reminds you of what Glastonbury and Burning Man were probably like in their beginning stages, but done with a Thai twist. The festival also has goals of becoming entirely self-sustainable within a few years and been publicly commended by artists like Seth Troxler.
