Wacko Maria teams up with Black Eye Patch for a spicy capsule collection
Featuring artwork by tattoo artist Tim Lehi & calligrapher Unokichi Tachibana
Earlier this month, Tokyo-based streetwear label that draws inspiration from music, film, and art Wacko Maria collaborated with Timberland on a shoe collection. Now, they are returning for yet another quirky collaboration with Black Eye Patch.
The debut collection of the two brands comes in a 14-piece capsule, consisting kimonos, shirts, t-shirts, windbreakers, nylon shorts, track pants, slippers, and a keychain.
The collaboration combines the unique styles that represent the two entities: the tiger print is contributed by tattoo artist Tim Lehi, who is closely related to Wacko Maria, in addition to the bright red logo of Black Eye Patch that can be found on the shirts.
Other pieces of the collection are seen decorated with Edo Moji calligraphy done by the well-known calligrapher Unokichi Tachibana.
