Featuring 40+ Indian underground acts, the festival offers 3 days of music, art, nature, and self-discovery
Scheduled for 14-16 June, Voodoo Valley festival returns for its third edition, nestled amidst the breath-taking Himalayan peaks of Manali, at a one-of-a-kind surreal venue 8000 feet above sea level—Dream Village.
The festival is organised by Dancedelic, known for its expertise in creating immersive and captivating experiences, drawing inspiration from nature and blending it seamlessly with musical and cultural elements.
As for the line-up, it features more than 40 top-tier acts from the Indian underground who will perform across four stages. Attendees can look forward to performances by Audio Units, Dotdat, Film, Midnight Traffic, Calm Chor, Folic State, Shantam, Soundtherapy, Syncsystm, Life Enjoyers Club and and many more.
Boasting an all-domestic lineup, the event underscores its commitment to promoting local talent, challenging the conventional approach of relying on international headliners and most importantly, celebrating the vibrant homegrown music scene.
The theme for 2024, Valley Walkthrough, offers an immersive journey through nine sensory experiences, where boundaries blur, and self-discovery becomes a journey of renewal and inspiration.
In the Sonic Sanctuary, visitors can immerse themselves in the power of sound at Dream Village, a musical gathering designed to unite dance enthusiasts.
Then there’s Tranquil Retreat, which provides a peaceful oasis crafted to “soothe the soul and awaken inner calm”. Inner Discovery, curated by Folic State, encourages exploring the connection between mind, body, and spirit, fostering personal growth.
At Food for Soul - Himachali Dham, attendees can enjoy a feast made from locally sourced ingredients, connecting with the mountains and nourishing the soul.
Dreamscapes combines technology and spirituality in a visual art show that highlights the beauty of the mountains and the human spirit, while The Art of Balancing provides a meditative experience with skilled Slackline performers impressing the one and all.
The Fire & Flames show presents a visually stunning choreographed fire dance, where flames move rhythmically, and Cloud Nine offers a paragliding adventure over Voodoo Valley, offering breathtaking views.
Finally, at Conscious Collectables, attendees can find eco-conscious treasures and sustainable creations at the Art Flea, promoting mindful consumption and meaningful connections with artisans.
