The United Kingdom’s Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) is gearing up for its forthcoming Night Time Economy Summit, scheduled to happen in Greater Manchester on February 8-9, 2024.

In partnership with Defected Records and VibeLab, this summit marks a significant milestone for the NTIA, presenting its most ambitious undertaking yet comprising 200 speakers spread across two days and four stages, plus exciting domestic and international collaborations.

Just last month, VibeLab released its Creative Footprint Sydney Report which uncovered insights for future music and nightlife development, spotlighting the role of independent venues in shaping Sydney's cultural identity.

Having brought over more than 800 delegates to its first event in Bristol, the upcoming Night Time Economy Summit in Greater Manchester will see the release of the annual UK Benchmark Reports on Night Time Economy & Electronic Music.

Delving into the vital role of Night Time Economy when it comes to both global economic and cultural recovery, the event will also showcase additional stages that cover and represent Theatre as well as Live and Electronic Music.

Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, expressed his excitement in looking forward to “recognising the hard work and amazing representation that the trade association delivered throughout the pandemic for the hospitality and night time economy sector across the UK.”

Sacha Lord, Night Time Economy Adviser and Co-founder of The Warehouse Project/Parklife, shared his enthusiasm for the NTIA's choice of Greater Manchester as the next Summit location, emphasising the event will be “the biggest to date, in a city region where it has been said, tables were made for dancing on.”
