Trust: Underground Essentials #15
The work done for you - the best tunes from the world of underground music
This week, the Underground Essentials includes five new releases from Wankelmut & Schlepp Geist, Point G, Lehar & Musumeci, Who Made Who, and Oliver Schories, with featured remixes by Bedouin and Rico Puestel. Thanks for listening!
1 Point G
You (Original)
Label: Point G Records
Release: 11/06/2015
Of this four track EP from the mysterious and elusive artist Point G, my favorite of the EP is the track titled simply 'You’. It’s atmospheric yet driving deep techno at its best.
2. Lehar & Musumeci
Horizon (Original)
Label: Connaisseur Recordings
Release: 07/07/2015
Flora & Zephyr is the latest release from Lehar, which is upcoming on Connaisseur Recordings, and this time he teams up with Musumeci to create the featured track here entitled 'Horizon'. The EP also features collaboration with Olderic and all four tracks deserve proper recognition here.
3. Who Made Who
Ember (Bedouin Mix)
Label: Get Physical Records
Release: 06/06/2015
Brooklyn's very own Tamer Malki & Rami Deejay, better known as Bedouin, give us a mid-tempo deeper vibe remix of the massive Who Made Who single 'Ember' recently released off their EP on Get Physical Records. The remix EP also includes great mixes from Blond:ish, Sante and Fran Seven as well.
4. Oliver Schories
Undisguised (Rico Puestel Mix)
Label: SOSO - Hamburg
Release: 19/06/2015
Oliver Schories’ Fields Without Fences EP includes this remix of 'Undisguised' by Rico Puestel as well as new mixes from Johannes Brecht, Djuma Soundsystem, Teenage Mutants and Joscha Berg of the title track.
5. Wankelmut & Schlepp Geist
Jowi (Original)
Label: Hive Audio
Release: 22/06/2015
Taken from the Banana Split EP on the Swiss label Hive Audio, Wankelmut and Geist take things on darker and deeper direction here with the track 'Jowi'.
