THEOS debuts his dynamic house grooves in Asia next month

Electronic music up-and-comer THEOS is set to tour Asia for the very first time.

Raised by two musician parents, Theo was destined to follow a path of sonic exploration. In 2019, he unveiled his musical alter ego, THEOS, and embarked on a journey that would take him to the bustling streets of London. After enrolling himself in a prestigious school of sound engineering, he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his craft, honing his skills as a DJ, producer, and musician.

His musical odyssey has been coloured by a diverse tapestry of genres, from the rhythmic cadences of hip hop and the soulful melodies of jazz and funk to the infectious beats of house.

At just 21 years old (he turns 22 while on tour!), THEOS boasts an impressive discography with over 15 releases on esteemed European labels including France's Happiness Therapy and Pont Neuf, Shall Not Fade (UK) and Airtime (Netherlands).

Thanks to his unique and innovative sound, he’s garnered the support of industry heavyweights such as Chris Stussy, Djoko, and Richie Hawtin, who have spun his tracks at renowned venues worldwide.

Dive into his sounds via the mix below for Bangkok Community Radio — a selection of THEOS' tracks mixed by Jazzie C who will make a guest appearance on the tour.

Now, the time has come for THEOS to conquer new continents...beginning with Asia.

On October 14, he’ll make a debut appearance at Paradise Lost rooftop in Bangkok, supported by two revered artists from the local scene: Koish, known for crafting mesmerizing sunset soundscapes during his 5-hour set, and Skinny Mark, who will warm up the dance floor for the headliner.

The tour will be followed by four more stops; full dates below.

- 18 October: Secret Party, Ko Tao (Tickets available here)

This tour is put together by Latitudes Media & Events, the masterminds behind last year’s Back 2 The Groove Festival #3, with the invaluable support of Sawasdee France — the cultural entity of the French Embassy in Thailand.

It comes as part of their ‘The Groove on the Move’ programme that offers artists the opportunity to tour Thailand and its surrounding countries. With this being their first series of events, we're definitely keeping our hopes up for more quality acts coming our way.
