The grand opening of Rakes is upon us

There will always be room for more clubs amid Singapore’s sparkly skyline and its even bigger spenders. Rakes is the latest addition to the bustling city, with its grand opening and promise of an immersive sensory experience slated for this Saturday.

Rakes, which takes its name after the English word rake meaning a man of exquisite refinement and with a penchant for debauchery and carousal, will embody a Las Vegas vibe and encourages patrons to fully indulge in all their hedonistic pleasures by offering bottle service and champagne served with a side of dance music.

The music format won’t however focus on EDM and will instead be a well rounded spin on all genres within dance music. They aim to provide an multi-faceted experience combined with whimsical theatrics and exotic performances.

The club is also the first of a kind for Singapore in that it will feature an in-house champagne room that will hold 1,100 bottles, ensuring premium champagnes are served fast and cold.

Pacha Ibiza regular Gregori Klosman plays the grand opening this Saturday.
