Solardo and Idris Elba release new collaborative single ‘Big Talk’

Solardo and Idris Elba have today released a brand new collaborative single ‘Big Talk’, with an accompanying music video.

The track, out today (March 3) via Ultra Records, is a club-ready house banger – the result of a year-long process of bouncing ideas back and forth, with the three artists eventually refining it into the final track that all were happy with.

Commenting on the new single, which features Elba providing the vocals, Solardo said: “We met Idris in Las Vegas in 2017 where we played back-to-back at EDC and we hit it off and kept in contact.

“We heard Idris on a track and saw him play a few sets, and as we are huge fans, we thought it would be cool to do a track together,” they continued.

“Overall, it probably took a year or so going back and forth with ideas which were both reflective of our styles.

“We wanted the track to both sit in the underground market as well as being a little more accessible to a larger audience. I think we did that with ‘Big Talk’ and now we’re buzzing to have it being released!”

It follows a string of releases for multi-talented artist Elba, who has now collaborated with the likes of David Guetta, The Knocks, ARTBAT and Inner City.

In January, Ibiza superclubs Ushuaïa and Hï, where Solardo are residents, announced their plans for a joint 2023 summer season opening party. Playing alongside the Manchester-born duo on April 29 will be Honey Dijon, Adam Beyer, Eric Prydz, Black Coffee, Maceo Plex, The Martinez Brothers, Anfisa Letyago, Loco Dice, Damian Lazarus and more.
