Snapped: Scenes from the first Resident Revival at 1900 in Vietnam

It’s true, we threw a party in Vietnam last week.

As part of the debut Resident Revival, a new series by Mixmag Asia aimed at putting resident DJs back in the spotlight, together with 1900 Le Théâtre in Hanoi, we shone the spotlight back onto one of the club's resident selectors: NgoKien. The pioneering DJ threw down beats to a full house with a wicked number of people tuning into the livestream as well. Look back through the gallery above or peep the stream below.

Maybe the fact that we did an event at all stopped you in your tracks? While much of the world is in the thick of this COVID-19 conundrum, Asia is slowly coming back to life as many countries have almost entirely curbed the coronavirus. Vietnam has reported no new local transmissions for 75 straight days and nightlife all over the country is roaring back to life with a focus on local line-ups. Come on Asia, let's work a little harder to kick thus virus so we can do this more often.
