The XD-301 features a crossfader, audio input, pitch bend, bass booster effects, and two space controllers for airplay, offering “endless mixing possibilities”.
The beats player can be started by gesturing over the space control sensors using airplay, while the mix-drop function allows the user to add different sound effects.
“Play jingles or drums, and add cool effects and a capellas to your tracks. With the mix-drop function, effortlessly add sound effects, and take your mixes to new heights of creativity.”
The DJ toy also comes with bluetooth, USB, and MP3 connectivity, boasting a 4-8 hour playtime. The XD-301 is rechargeable using an included USB cable.

In April, audio engineering company Blipbox announced a new MPC-style sampler and synth for kids, myTRACKS, said to be a “full-featured sound lab for all ages".
The kids sampler and synth, which resembles an MPC, comes complete with 16 pads allowing users to create samples, melodies and beats. The launch of myTRACKS followed a fundraiser campaign to get the project off the ground.
The iDance XD-301 is available to purchase now for £59.99. Check out a video of the toy DJ setup in action below, and find out more about it here.
