Singapore's Neon Lights Festival is taking a hiatus until 2018

Neon Lights announced via Facebook today that it would not be hosting its annual festival this year.

For reasons that were not made known to the public, the Singaporean festival briefly said that it would be taking hiatus this year and would return in 2018 in full strength and scale. See the full post below.

There have been two iterations of the festival thus far, which has been previously held on the same weekend as Clockenflap in November and as a result has shared many of the artists billed in Hong Kong.

Although the festival mostly catered to indie bands, there have been plenty of crossover acts like 2manydjs, Crystal Castles, SBTRKT, Sigur Ros and George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic that have all played in the past.
