It’s not a rave – it’s a group hypnosis. Strange Weather invites us to get together to release and fall apart, dissolving ourselves in a trance of deconstructed sounds and all sorts of decaying, delicate noise. As we dance the dynamics of dissolution, what will we discover?

The boundary-pushing music collective is happy to announce their next guest — DJ, author, and collaborator in various fields; Phuong Dan. For almost two decades, Phuong Dan has been both resident and host at the legendary St. Pauli underground venue, Golden Pudel Club. A few years ago, he also joined the resident family of Ankali, a former soap factory-turned-printshop which has carved a niche for itself beyond its locale in Prague.

Throughout the years, Phuong Dan has established himself as one of the most adventurous and pragmatic DJs around, and has played in widely respected dance music venues such as Salon des Amateurs and De School, as well as at high-rated festivals like Dekmantel, Positive Education or Berlin Atonal.

As for the sound of his DJ sets, they truly reflect his distinctive taste, spanning across a spectrum of genres, seamlessly blending contemporary underground techno, minimal synth, post-punk, new wave, EBM, electronic facets of krautrock, rare disco, and experimental sounds that defy conventional boundaries.

The night will be supported by the usual suspects - Strange Weather co-founders A'alely and Kindergarchy.
