On July 4, Cakeshop welcomes UK producer, DJ, multi-hyphenate artist Actress in Seoul.
“One of the great poets of club culture” (as said by The Guardian), with a career spanning almost 20 years and releases on some of the most influential labels in the scene, Actress is a visionary within electronic music who has created his own language, taking inspiration from a number of sources, from Detroit techno, electro, and musique concrète, to Afrofuturism, game theory, and chess, and through collaborating with many of his fellow musicians and visual artists, in an effort to constantly push boundaries and move things forward.
