SENAIDA’s ‘KUNST KAPUTT’ aims to redefine music creation with AI innovation

Canadian-born Chinese artist, AI researcher and sound architect SENAIDA (pronounced "Shuh-nay-duh") is rewriting the rulebook on music creation with ‘KUNST KAPUTT’—the world’s first collaborative AI-generated album.

‘KUNST KAPUTT’ premiered at an exclusive VIP Album Release Show in New York on December 13, merging music with immersive multimedia installations, including virtual reality, augmented reality, and video art.

At the heart of the album is an experimental concept: listeners can use AI to remix tracks, upload their versions to the blockchain, and share revenues equally with SENAIDA.

Expect to hear everything from bouncy industrial synths, eerie ambient chimes, rapid-fire percussion, otherworldly glitches, sharp and crisp breaks, anxiety-inducing siren-like synths, nostalgia-inducing trance-like elements, and more.

This bold initiative critiques the exploitative music streaming economy by fostering transparency, fair compensation, and global collaboration.

SENAIDA, a DJ, sound architect, and AI researcher, is known for blending deep techno with avant-garde electronic music, a sound shaped by their background as a classical pianist and composer.

SENAIDA's accolades reflect their multifaceted talent. A classically trained pianist and composer, they’ve performed at high-profile events like NYFW and PopCon, and curated interdisciplinary spaces through their NYC-based collective, WE ARE THE FUTURE!.

Currently based in Brooklyn, SENAIDA’S accolades include sold-out NFT collections, performances at prestigious venues like Brooklyn’s Bossa Nova Civic Club and Berlin’s Refuge Worldwide, and a critically acclaimed collaboration with the fashion label Electric Sunshine NYC.

Their compositions have also earned acclaim from outlets like Paper Magazine and Fashion Week Online.
