Selectress Iriela, Eddie Leader & Biliguudei headline Warehouse Rave’s year-end hurrah

Warehouse Rave, a collaborative series between Jason Kong Gin and Secret Guests Asia since February 2023, presents top-quality sonic experiences, mixology, and production. Held at its home base — Phnom Penh’s Seekers Spirits distillery — the event transforms the venue's warehouse and garden space into a haven for discerning ravers.

Having previously welcomed artists like Toni Varga and Bastian Bux, the series intertwines with Cambodia's underground scene, featuring local talents for a unique nightlife experience.

This time the party purveyors prepare for an all-out “XXXTRA XMAS” event on Saturday, December 23, in partnership with Mixmag Asia.

Making its grand finale for the year, Warehouse Rave presents the Cambodia debt of three international headliners who will lead the charge in the all-night affair of beats, accompanied by performances from top-quality homegrown talents.

First up is Selectress Iriela from New York, whose extensive travels and experiences contribute to her genre-bending sound. Known to champion all things soul, funk, reggae and disco, she’s also collaborated with heavyweights of the music industry — A Tribe Called Quest’s Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Lady Starlight, DJ Scratch, Chaka Khan, and Louie Vega just to name a few — and has cemented her status as a music evangelist with her global performances.

Next, revered UK house music figure and sonic tastemaker Eddie Leader will summon ravers to the floor with his groovy cuts. Founder of Hudd Trax and a key player in Slum Science, his influence extends to managing the notable Hard Times label. His extensive collaborations include working with Nightmares on Wax, Jovonn, Chez Damier, and more, earning praise from industry heavyweights like Disclosure and Jamie Jones. Beyond his studio prowess, Eddie curated the acclaimed 'Content' night in Manchester, showcasing legends like Derrick May, Andrew Weatherall and Juan Atkins. With further releases on Hudd Traxx, 2023 was Eddie’s most productive year so far in 20 years of releasing music.

Mongolian techno phenomenon Biliguudei will bring the peak time chills from the northern reaches of Asia. When it comes to his sonic repertoire, the Majesty Mongolia label founder covers a broad spectrum of genres, from dark percussion-driven deep techno that mirrors cosmic experiences to an alluring blend of melodic, immersive house and breaks. He works closely with Germany's Giegling crew, continuing to bridge Mongolian and Chinese electronic scenes to the global stage.

Keeping true to Warehouse Rave tradition, resident DJs Just.fin and Bytz will frame the night with their signature mixes.

Secret Guests, an artist collective and agency, unites underground scenes throughout Asia, promoting cross-border experimentation and collaboration with 70+ talents spanning 15 Asian countries.
