Rare memorabilia from The Haçienda and Factory Records are up for auction
Lots from the Tony Wilson Archive include a poster from Joy Division's first show at The Factory Club in 1978 and two FAC51 Haçienda membership cards from the 1980s
A selection of rare memorabilia from The Haçienda and Factory Records is currently available as part of an eBay auction from the Tony Wilson Archive.
Set to run until Monday (January 19), the auction features lots such as an original poster from Joy Division’s debut at The Factory Club, and two FAC51 Haçienda membership cards "preserved as new and untouched since the 1980s".

Other items up for auction include a Haçienda paper cut-out "model kit", which was sold as a Christmas gift in 1990, and a Buzzcocks and Magazine concert poster designed by Linder Sterling from 1978.
Located within the University of Manchester's John Rylands Library - and run by Wilson's son, Oli Wilson - the Tony Wilson Archive consists of personal documents, memorabilia, and more personal effects of the Factory Records and Haçienda founder.

In an announcement shared via Instagram, the Tony Wilson Archive confirmed that each lot will be accompanied by a "formal letter of authenticity".
