Raja Rani fuse fashion with social impact in Freedom and Music initiative

Celebrating creativity and social responsibility, Raja Rani has launched Freedom and Music, a new initiative to engage emerging talents and uplift important causes.

This collaborative project, held in partnership with LASALLE School of Arts, challenged students to design pieces reflecting the theme Freedom and Music.

After receiving numerous inspiring submissions, two standout designs were selected to feature in a capsule collection, set to debut at Design Orchard Singapore on November 9.

“We want our guests to leave with a deep appreciation for the designer's creativity and the inspiring talent of the LASALLE School of Fashion students. The theme of Freedom and Music is a universal concept, and we hope that these pieces resonate with the audience, sparking reflection on how personal expression and music intertwine with the idea of freedom,” explains Raja Rani exclusively to Mixmag Asia.

A portion of the proceeds from the capsule collection will be donated to AWARE, underscoring the project’s commitment to positive social impact.

“Beyond just enjoying the artistic showcase, guests can feel proud knowing that their participation contributes to a positive social impact. Through this event, we want to inspire a connection between fashion, art, and social responsibility, showing how creativity can lead to tangible change,” add the duo.
