“We are in the process of arranging a memorial to celebrate Alland's life and the impact he had on all of us. We will be sharing more information soon. During this difficult time, let's come together to support each other and cherish the moments we shared with him.”

Byallo was born in Los Angeles learning the piano and trumpet as a child before experimenting with electronic music when gifted his first pair of turntables in the early 90s.

After spending time working at LA’s former WAX Records, he decided to move to San Francisco in 2003.

Whilst in San Francisco, Byallo started DJing at local venues before starting his own dance music label, Nightlight Music as well as his iconic monthly nights at The Endup called [KONTROL].

His [KONTROL] nights saw him play alongside the likes of Craig Richards, Marcel Dettman, Cassy, Seth Troxler and many other world-renowned artists.

With the popularity of [KONTROL], Byallo went onto play at Berlin’s Panorama Bar, Watergate, Bar25, Munich’s Harry Klein, Brazil’s D-Edge, Tokyo’s La Fabrique, America’s Smartbar, Decibel and Detroit Movement Festival among many others.

In 2012, his well-loved [KONTROL] nights came to a halt as Byallo had gone on to relocate in Berlin.

When in Berlin, Byallo started a new label, Bad Animal and in 2015 he released his acclaimed sophomore ‘Bones, Flesh’ on Third Ear Recordings.

More recently, he had been working on his Full Bleed Sound imprint, a label that focuses on deep house, playing horns in his band KAMM as well as working as an Art Director for the likes of Beatport.
