Unreleased Prince track 'With This Tear' shared on 10th anniversary of his death
The late-musician's original demo of the track, which was eventually given to Celine Dion, has now been officially released
Prince's estate have shared a previously unheard studio recording of 'With This Tear' to mark the 10th anniversary of the legendary musician's death.
Landing via Prince's NPG Records and Legacy Recordings on April 20, the track is the first of several unheard recordings from Prince's Paisley Park vault that are scheduled to be released this year, Official Charts reports.

Recorded during a studio session in 1991, Prince would eventually offer 'With This Tear' to Celine Dion, who released it on her self-titled album in 1992. However, the never-before-heard version's production, arrangement, composition and instrumentation was created solely by the late musician.
The piano and vocal-led rendition of the track has been remastered by GRAMMY-nominated engineer, producer and regular collaborator of Prince, Chris James.

Commenting on the release of Prince's track via Instagram stories yesterday, Dion said: "'With This Tear' was a gift from Prince that I will always treasure. I have carried this song with me for so many years. To hear his version, shared for the very first time, feels truly special."
