PETRU's vinyl stand turns audio into a live LED visualiser

The Smart Now Playing Stand by PETRU doesn’t only hold a vinyl record; it also reacts to whatever audio is playing in the room.

A built-in microphone feeds sound data to an LED screen, which displays it as a real-time frequency visualisation across 13 selectable modes.

The microphone picks up ambient sound from any source (speakers, monitors, or instruments), and the LED screen then renders that audio as an animated display.

It will react to sub-bass kicks, synth swells, and high-frequency hi-hats differently, depending on what the mic picks up.

You can adjust both the microphone sensitivity and screen brightness via physical controls on the unit, which helps dial in the response for louder or quieter listening environments.

The stand also has onboard memory, so it holds your preferred visual mode between sessions.

Setup requires only a USB-C power connection (5V at 1.5A minimum); no software, no Bluetooth pairing, no app.

PETRU is a father-and-son business based in Kaunas, Lithuania. Each stand is handcrafted from American walnut, available in natural, black, or white wood finishes with several knob colour combinations such as black and gold, white and silver, plus black and rose gold.

The frame fits standard LP sleeves and CD cases, with adjustable vertical rods to handle varying sleeve thicknesses.

Priced at US$239.90, it comes with a lifetime warranty covering the visualiser unit.
