By now, you’ve probably heard of hydrogen cars but what do you know about Peggy Gou's involvement?

Korean motor company Hyundai is launching a hydrogen technology advocacy program called H2U and has tapped South Korean DJ Peggy Gou as its creative ambassador to be at the forefront of the initiative.

The program aims to raise awareness surrounding hydrogen fuel as being a more sustainable option for a carbon-free car. Its accompanying ambassador program sees people from all walks of life and backgrounds, spanning music, fashion, science, photography and technology. People like Peggy Gou are being used to demonstrate how hydrogen fuel cell mobility fosters sustainability and positively impacts their everyday lives.

As a jet setting DJ, Gou is always on the go looking for greener solutions that can potentially help change the air quality in cities that she regularly visits. Her current home base in Berlin is also a city that praises the hydrogen infrastructure. And since the car brand is Korean, she is proud to represent Hyundai as a global pioneer for hydrogen technology and hopes this can help Berlin and its clubs reach their goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050.

The H2U program endeavors to demonstrate that hydrogen technology can be closely linked to our everyday lives. To achieve a world where all forms of transportation and technology function seamlessly and sustainably, it’s not a one-man effort but everyone's — and Peggy Gou is a shining example of that.
