Paris' Japan Connection Festival returns for its second edition this month

Paris' Japan Connection Festival has announced its return for a second year alongside the full line-up which includes DJ Masda, Hugo LX, a debut live set from Satoshi Tomiie and Kuniyuki, live performances from Manami Sakamoto and Yuri Urano, and more.

Highlights include the appearance of DJ Nobu, who will be playing back-to-back with Wata Igarashi for the first time outside of Japan. The last time the pair played together was back in 2019 at Rainbow Disco Club in Japan, of which DJ Nobu said that the “B2B with Wata Igarashi at Rainbow Disco Club was one of the greatest experiences in my DJ life.”

Due to take place on March 26, at Gaîté Lyrique, the festival will showcase Japanese electronic music and digital arts.

Guests will have the opportunity to discover contemporary Japanese culture through electronic music, performances, installations, talks, conferences, free workshops, and activities all curated by TEMPURA, a French magazine dedicated solely to Japanese culture. Other than that, there will also be a SAKÉ BAR by Wakazé and authentic Japanese teas and street food provided. The festival is also a phone-free zone, with attendees being requested to place their phones in bags with magnetic locks before entering.

Paris' Japan Connection Festival takes place on March 26 from pm to 7pm and 11:30pm to 5:30am at the Gaîté Lyrique. Get tickets here.
