Premiere: Neverest Records returns for round 3 with 'The Brain' by Rory Gallagher
The Bangkok based imprint is shelling out releases
'The Brain' has just come in from mastering, we had one listen and were drawn to its bubbly melodies and blissful bassline. Naturally, we swooped in on the chance to premiere the adventurous tune by Ko Pha Ngan based artist Rory Gallagher.
Floaty and full of beautiful styles and tempos, featured here is the A-side but the full release comes armed with remixes by charismatic Cologne duo Danito & Athina as well as Julian Wassermann of München & Munich fame that offer up a heavier dose of driving techno.
'The Brain' is slated for a December 2nd release date on Bangkok based imprint Neverest Records. This will be the label's third release following DOTT's 'Howl Inn', which soared to the top of Beatport's charts.
British born Gallagher now bases out of the tropical Thai island of Ko Pha Ngan where he's a regular playing for crowds of 50,000 at the island's raucous Full Moon Parties as well as some other Asia wide residencies. Gallagher adds 'The Brain' to an existing volume of rejuvenated, energetic and melodic techno that has previously been picked up by John Digweed's Bedrock, Sascha Braemer’s Berlin outfit What I Play, Manual Music, Save Us, Natura Viva and Paul Oakenfolds Perfecto Black so it's a privilege to premiere his latest tune.
