Moby shares new track featuring the late Benjamin Zephaniah, ‘where is your pride?’

Moby has shared a brand new track featuring dub poet and animal rights activist Benjamin Zephaniah, who passed away in December 2023 aged 65.

The track, titled ‘where is your pride?’, features spoken word poetry from Zephaniah over a breakbeat, with a “powerful message” delivered in his characteristic, flowing style. Listen below.

Speaking on the track, Moby explains: “As a vegan activist, and as a wise and compassionate man, Benjamin inspired me for many years.”

‘always centered at night’ also features emerging and established artists from around the world including Sudan’s Gaidaa, Burundian artist J.P. Bimeni, and Jamaica’s Aynzli Jones.
