Manuka Honey brings her industrial-Latin club fusion to Asia in June

With a career that's skyrocketed in just a few short years, Manuka Honey has become synonymous with pushing the boundaries of club music, infusing it with her signature blend of chaos, sensuality, and ecstatic motion.

Raised in the US and later moving to London, she has become a prolific DJ, producer, and multi-disciplinary artist, weaving a tapestry of sounds that encompasses the best of Latin underground music, including cumbia, shatta, dembow, and Venezuelan turreo.

Her music doesn't just pay homage to these genres; it reimagines them, infusing them with stormy, industrial pressure and exhilarating energy.

‘Industrial Princess’ was her solo debut release that made waves in 2021, and thanks to her flurry of subsequent releases have only cemented her reputation as a groundbreaking artist.

In 2023, her well-received EP ‘Machete / 777’, released on Florentino's Club Romantico label, featured collaborations with Grammy-winning vocalist La Favi and remixes that turn heads with their sultry vibes and serrated synths.

The most recent EP, ‘3Eternities Beneath You’, has taken her sound further into the dreamlike, psychedelic territory, offering a low, slow, and captivating listening experience.

She’s not just a master of production; Manuka Honey is also a formidable presence behind the decks. Her skill as a DJ has earned her residencies on both BBC Radio 1 and London's Rinse FM.

Her SUZIO parties in London have injected a femme-led edge into the city's Latin club scene, proving that she's not just an innovator but also a curator of unique experiences.

From the Netherlands' Rewire Festival to Berlin's renowned Panorama Bar, Manuka Honey's live sets are a sensory journey, blending kinetic sounds from the diaspora with stormy, industrial pressure — something you need to experience in person.
