If you were partying in Manila during the ’90s, you would’ve definitely heard of Toti Dalmacion’s Groove Nation and his roving rave series Consortium, along with co-resident Cocoy Puyat and friends. These two DJs are considered by some as the ones who brought underground house and techno to the city.

This March 21, they return with Beat Surrender, their smaller bi-monthly party from back in the day, held in between their rave series, Consortium.

Now revived and updated, Beat Surrender features current resident torchbearers, Soft As Silk and Papa Jawnz, along with occasional guests. This Saturday marks the second edition of the revived Beat Surrender, featuring Nomoclassiq and Girl w Pearl.

Join them at Karrivin Studios from 6pm til midnight as they continue the legacy of Manila nightlife and experience it through Cocoy Puyat's very own Caimito Soundsystem.
