LOOPTOPIA finalizes its debut line-up with an impressive 50 international acts

LOOPTOPIA is a mere week and half away and Taiwan is bracing itself for the island’s first homegrown multi-day and multi-stage electronic music festival.

The organizers of the festival had no interest in starting small and went full on with the line-up, curating each of three stages in a way that they felt Taiwan was ready and deserving of.

The main stage is called the Kingdom of LOOPTOPIA and features an exclusively EDM line-up with artists like Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, GTA, KSHMR, Martin Garrix, Seven Lions, Tony Junior, Yellow Claw and more. See the stage design in the image above.

Exciting news for Taiwan’s trance community, the festival will feature a dedicated trance and progressive stage that pays homage to the fabled 2F White Party that ran for nearly a decade. Aly & Fila, Ben Nicky, Emma Hewitt, Markus Schulz, Mark Sixma, Orjan Nelson and more will play here. Get a feel for what the stage is going to look like below.

TheLOOP also bring its legendary Halloween Massive series back to life at the Monster Tower stage, which will feature bass music like dubstep, trap and hardstyle with a line-up including Brennan Heart, Coone, Dirtcaps, NGHTMRE, Snails, Wildstylez, Wiwek and more. It looks like its going to be our favorite, check it below.

The festival also welcomes Rukes, who is arguably one of the world’s most famous festival photographers and regualrly jets around the world with artists like Skrillex and Zedd. Besides being Ultra Music Festival’s go-to photographer, you’ve seen his photos in US Weekly, Vanity Fair and Rolling Stone.

But most of all, the organizers are just looking forward to finally seeing Taiwan have a place on the international dance music map and showing off the island and its beautiful culture.

“We want to share with you the beauty and hospitality that Taiwan has to offer; what better place than the refreshing island breeze and lush grassland to awaken your inner child,” the organizers have said.

15 years of hard work is finally paying and the result will hopefully create a new landmark for festivals in Asia. We're so excited for LOOPTOPIA, see you there. Tickets are still available for purchase here.

Curious about Taiwan, see a pretty endearing video introducing the island by the festivals below.
