Vietnam meets Thailand on the 9-track project 'SEA RAVE'

Saigon-based *LOOP Collective and Bangkok’s Blaq Lyte crew have collaborated on a new release titled ‘SEA RAVE’.
The 9-track compilation fuses Thai and Vietnamese styles, blending cultural traditions with global club sonics across a wide spectrum of genres, energies, and moods.
Speaking on the role of Vietnamese music in the project, *LOOP’s Kỳ Mỹ shares a deeper perspective: “To us, it’s no longer about a ‘role’ — it’s something that lives within us, like blood running through our veins.”
Vietnam’s side is represented by *LOOP’s own Kỳ Mỹ, dOnüt, Smoothie Boiz, Phát Paris, and Lil Toilet, while the Thai line-up was curated by the team behind Blaq Lyte Mag.
For those in Bangkok, there will be a launch party at Blaq Lyte Rover on Saturday, May 17.
