Listen to Frankie Knuckles’ last-ever recorded mix
To mark 12 years since his passing, we’re revising this historic groove-fuelled house set
To mark 12 years since his untimely passing on March 31, 2014, we're revisiting Frankie Knuckles' last-ever recorded mix.
Recorded on March 22, 2014, at Miami's Winter Music Conference (WMC), this very special groove-fuelled house set will forever go down in history, packed with originals, remixes, and Frankie classics.
While his very final performance took place just a week later at London’s Ministry Of Sound, this was the last to be recorded, released by Mixmag on Christmas Eve in 2015 as our final In Session of the year.
This historic set features plenty of gorgeous house, soul and groove selections, with tracks from The Layabouts, Portia Monique, Soulful Session, Lynn Lockamy, Greencraft, Blind Truth, Soulmagic and many more.
RIP The Godfather Of House.
