Indonesia’s Dipha Barus was tapped by Ultra Music for a live stream
More and more Asian artists are seeing support from the label
As the world slows down due to the coronavirus pandemic, Ultra Music is stepping up its efforts to connect with its global audience. Meanwhile, Asian artists are doing what they can to support COVID-19 effort, both in music and charity. Now, the two come together.
Ultra Music has launched a series of live streaming events with select Asian artists via different platforms to show their support for people affected by the coronavirus. This Thursday, just before Ramadhan starts, Indonesia's rising star Dipha Barus is taking the lead.
Team Dipha believes it’s part of their responsibility to help as much as they can. During Dipha's Thursday session just before Ramadhan, he will be presenting his work of music as a fundraising activation for Kopernik, a local Indonesia organisation that will use the funds to support the needs of the medical workers at the front of the COVID-19 fight.
With more than a decade of experience in the Indonesian music industry, Dipha Barus has established himself as a musical phenomenon with a brand that is always relevant. He interlocks upbeat and inspiring music with essential elements of traditional Indonesian music and current grooves. Dipha’s approach to music has made him one of the most sought after artists in Indonesia by top tier musicians in Indonesia, as well as some international names.
