Vladimir Ivkovic is a DJ, but more importantly, he is a master at selecting records and creating unique, compelling narratives through music. Born in Belgrade, he started DJing in the mid-'80s, and it was during a visit home from his studies in Germany that he truly immersed himself in the craft, playing at impromptu parties at his parents' lakeside restaurant.

Over the next two decades, he honed his skills, organizing events like Selected and Substance, and eventually found his spiritual home at Salon des Amateurs in Düsseldorf. There, alongside other groundbreaking talents, he explored sounds far beyond the usual electronic dance music, which would later inform his Offen Music label, launched in 2015.

His distinctive style has earned him a spot in major clubs across Europe and on tours in Canada, Asia, Australia, and beyond. Ivkovic has also been a regular on the festival circuit, with appearances at renowned events like Dekmantel, Unsound, and Primavera Sound.

Despite international acclaim, Ivkovic remains focused on music's darker, psychedelic corners. His much-loved Lunatic Love Songs program and contributions to various radio stations showcase his passion for curating boundary-pushing sounds. He’s not just a DJ, but a storyteller and artist at heart.
